MSP holds twice-yearly educational conferences featuring a mix of national and local speakers who provide outstanding pathology seminars. Topics are chosen for their practical interest for pathologists, including common diagnostic dilemmas, updates on classification systems, and clinical diagnostic pearls. CME credits are available. MSP members can register for a reduced price. Attendees come from all over Michigan and nearby states to hear.

· Government Relations
MSP gives pathologists a voice of advocacy in government, allowing them to address issues with legislative policy makers. Members are provided a forum to speak to all areas having an impact on pathology in Michigan.

MSP is also the point of interaction with other societies such as the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and the Michigan State Medical Society.
